In the fall of 2020, the state of Illinois needed to inspire as many citizens as possible to celebrate the holidays in a pandemic-safe way. Together with Framestore Chicago we created a new illustration style and used it in over 30 different deliverables, ranging from enormous outdoor posters to a social media toolkit with illustrations and videos.

In all honesty, celebrating Christmas on the porch or New Years over Zoom was a tough sell. But with a focus on inspiration rather than pointing fingers, the campaign was well received and every person who chose a more pandemic-safe alternative was a win in it’s own right.
